CASE 1:Class "A" Office Building
CASE 2:Apartment Building
During the sales process, AirOwatch sales experts can measure the level of colony forming units (CFU's) in an area to assess the number and type of micro-organisms, referred to as bioburden. The CFU results are analyzed by a scientific team and then shared with the customer. The air quality target for workplaces, commercial office buildings, condominiums, shopping centers, health clubs, and apartment buildings is as follows:
Target Air Quality
- < 100 cfu/m3 is considered clean and acceptable.
- 100 to 300 cfu/m3 is marginal.
- > 300 cfu/m3 is not acceptable and needs corrective action.
Equipment used in Air Sampling to measure CFU/m3
Results obtained by using AirOwatch systems unique sales approach are explained in the Case Study #1 out below and well documented. These results are based on scientifically sound principles and research. Attached are five examples of how ROS significantly reduced the micro-organisms and eliminated the bioburden throughout the following customer sites.
CASE 1:Class "A" Office Building to top
In a Class "A" office building, the trash area can cause problematic odor within the facility. In the case, a high-profile corporation occupies the entire building. There was a high level of bioburden present at the customer's trash dumpster site, resulting in the penetration of rancid odors into the lower level of the building. Additionally, the grease generated from the ground level restaurant was being spilled and stored in the trash room also contributing to the bioburden.

Case Study #1 Before installing the AirOwatch system, an AirOwatch technical associate
measured
the microbial population (CFU/m3) to determine the micro-organisms present in the trash room that was creating the malodor. The Target Air Quality range for these different CFU
measurements
should be in the range of 0 to 100 for an acceptable level and 101 to 300 as a marginal range. Overall Sampling:

In summary the AirOwatch program lowered the bioburden in this garbage room by 76% and eliminated the odor problem.
CASE 2:Apartment Building to top
The following pictures represent a large apartment building whose trash compactor had extreme bioburden resulting in malodors that tenants found offensive. AirOwatch installed its unique monitoring system in the trash room which housed a compactor, thus eliminating the bioburden and odors throughout the building.
The result: satisfied tenants.
